Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make the hem repair invisible from the outside?
Usually yes. Blind hem rehemming is invisible from the outside on most fabrics. For top-stitched pieces, we match the original thread color and stitch length so the repair blends with the original stitching.
Can you lengthen a hem that has been shortened?
Sometimes, if the original seam allowance is still present and the crease has not set permanently. Bring the garment in and we will measure the available allowance. Lengthening starts at 35 euros.
Do you rehem technical or waterproof fabric coats?
Yes. Technical and waterproof coats need specific thread and sometimes seam tape re-application to keep the waterproof seal. This is specialty work and is quoted individually.
